New Board Members Sworn In

On May 24, 2023, at the Arbor Site, four community members elected by Opaskwayak voters were sworn into office as board members of Opaskwayak’s Lands & Natural Resources branch.

Rick Constant, Gary Cook, Ida McGillivary and Justin Spence will serve on the board until May 19, 2027.

The election was held at Otineka Mall on May 17, 2023. A summary of results can be viewed here. 

Elder Henry Wilson, Rev. Gloria Lavallee, Chairperson John Paul Martin and 2022 OID Princess Jules Bignell also participated in the ceremony.
