To ensure that land is not held up for an indefinite period of time, this policy outlines the process to be used as a guideline for the Land Authority when determining whether or not to grant further extension, by way of a new Permit or Lease to an applicant.

It is the intent of the Opaskwayak Cree nation to provide rights and remedies without discrimination on the basis of sex, with respect to spouses who have or claim interest in OCN Lands upon a breakdown of marriage or Spousal Relationship.
